A cowardly attack by Fitna-al-Khawarij in Bajaur failed, with 12 Khawarij killed. The operation against fleeing Khawarij is underway, while, according to reports so far, three Pakistan Army soldiers have been injured.
An attempted suicide attack by Fitna-al-Khawarij using an explosives-laden vehicle at the Malangi post of security forces in Bajaur was foiled.
During the operation, 12 Khawarij were killed, while three Pakistan Army soldiers have been reported injured so far.
Pakistan’s security forces suffered minimal casualties due to excellent security measures by the armed forces.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
A girl was martyred in the Khawarij attack, while dozens of civilians, including two children and a woman, were also seriously injured.
The Khawarij are enemies of the peace-loving people of Bajaur and want to plunge Bajaur back into the flames of terrorism.

Earlier, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations(ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry had visited the University of Technology Lahore and participated in a special session with students and faculty, in which detailed discussions were held on the country’s national security, current challenges of terrorism, networks of Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan, and the ongoing hybrid warfare against Pakistan.
On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr Shahid Munir, paid tribute to the Pakistani Armed Forces for the historic success of Operation Banyan Al-Marsoos and expressed pride in the Field Marshal.
