Official first look
Toyota Motor Thailand has shared an official teaser for the next generation Hilux, confirming a global reveal on November 10 at 06:00 AM CET.
The short clip hints at a new design and signals the start of a fresh chapter for Toyota’s best known pickup.
What the teaser shows
The video highlights slimmer LED headlights, a reshaped hood, and a taller front bumper.
Moreover, from the side, the familiar double cab shape remains, with strong fenders and a sports bar.
At the back, the taillights appear more vertical, and the tailgate looks cleaner with a small integrated lip.
Furthermore, a large TOYOTA badge sits on the grille, while “Hilux” branding is shown on the tail.
Powertrains to expect
Meanwhile, Toyota has not released engine or battery details yet. Based on recent reports, diesel and hybrid options are still planned.
An all-electric Hilux (BEV) has been tested as a prototype in select markets, and a retail version is widely expected, but final specs will only be clear at the reveal.
Platform and interior
Besides, the new model is expected to keep a strong ladder frame setup, improving comfort and safety without losing toughness.
Inside, leaks point to a digital instrument cluster and a free standing infotainment screen on a more angular dashboard, with better materials across the cabin.
However, these details are not yet official.
Why this launch matters
Hilux is a top seller across Asia, Oceania, and Africa.
A cleaner design, updated tech, and a broader powertrain lineup would help it compete with the Ford Ranger, VW Amarok, Isuzu D-Max, Mazda BT-50, Mitsubishi Triton, Nissan Navara, Kia Tasman, and new Chinese rivals.
What happens on reveal day?
Toyota will publish full details on styling, features, engines, possible BEV specs, trims, pricing, and timing.
In addition, production is expected to remain centered in Thailand, the main hub for global Hilux models.
The 2026 Toyota Hilux gets an official debut on November 10 with a sharper look and likely more powertrain choices. Final information arrives at the event, ending months of leaks and guesses.
