According to sources, the process of consultation between political parties for the 27th Amendment is ongoing. Senator Faisal Vawda reached JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence to meet him in this regard.
JUI-F central spokesperson Aslam Ghauri was also present in the meeting. The political situation in the country was discussed in the meeting.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, he said that, ‘you people are eager for the 27th Amendment, I am preparing for the 28th Amendment, as the country progresses, amendments will also continue to come.’
To the journalist’s question, Faisal Vawda said that the things required for the security and success of Pakistan will be included in the amendments. There are amendments on transfers and postings, and age.
He also said that the 18th Amendment is not being rolled back. The government is giving Rs 2,000 billion to the provinces. If there is any change by consensus, then it is not bad.
He said that Article 243 does not only include war of armies, but also economic, cyber, and financial wars. If we have to give energy to the three forces, we will give it, we will strengthen them so that the defense can be strong.
He said that the 27th Amendment seems to be passing very easily; if there is any ambiguity in it, then it is a “flight on board”.
To a question, he said that Senator Faisal Vawda said that the PPP is the guarantor of this system and it will not allow this system to be rolled back.
He said that the PTI should be taken into confidence on the 27th Amendment, but if they do not want to come, then it is their choice.
