Aleema Khan’s Properties Comes Under Punjab Government’s Scrutiny

LAHORE: The Punjab government has started a scrutiny of properties of Aleema Khan, sister of the PTI founder Imran Khan on the orders of the court.

 The Board of Revenue has initiated an investigation into her properties across the province.

Senior Member of the Board of Revenue, Nabeel Javed, has issued directives to all Deputy Commissioners to investigate Aleema Khan’s assets in Punjab.

Details of all her movable, immovable, and agricultural properties have been requested from across the province.

All records of her properties will be sent to the ATC Court in Rawalpindi.

The ATC had ordered the authorities to submit the details of Aleema Khan’s properties in Islamabad and Punjab after she failed to appear before the court despite her arrest warrants being issued for the 10th time.

The court has ordered that the details of the properties of Aleema Khan be submitted before the court on November 17.

Two bank mangers have already been issued show cause notices after they failed to freeze Aleema Khan’s accounts despite the court’s orders.

A case has been registered at the Sadiqabad Police Station on the charges of arson, obstruction of government work, and incitement to violence.
