Pakistan and China demonstrated a willingness to enhance coordination at regional and international platforms.
Both countries reached an understanding during the 7th round of the Pakistan-China Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue, held in Beijing on Sunday.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar co-chaired the meeting.
During the talks, both sides reassured that their long-standing friendship plays an important role in establishing peace, stability, and prosperity in the region as well as in both countries.
Earlier, Ministry of Foreign affairs wrote on X, “At the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, DPM/FM Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar visited Beijing to co-chair the 7th Round of the Pakistan–China Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue. The two sides reviewed the entire spectrum of Pakistan–China relations and discussed key issues at the regional and global levels. Views were exchanged on CPEC, trade, multilateral cooperation, and people-to-people exchanges.”
