All schools and colleges reopened on Monday in Islamabad and Sindh after a two months summer break.
In Islamabad, the summer vacations remain in effect from May 25 to July 31 across all federal educational institutions.
As per the latest media reports, the school administration is ready to welcome back their students after a long pause of two months in the academic activities.
The federal authorities have completed their final preparation to reopen the schools and colleges in Islamabad.
According to the notification, the students will be bound to rejoin their classes on August 3 to start a new academic session after their summer break.
After the end of the two-month long summer vacations, teaching activities resumed regularly in public and private schools and colleges across Sindh, including Karachi, from Monday, with which the excitement in educational institutions was restored once again.
Schools reopen in Sindh
The attendance of students in schools on the first day after the vacations was less than usual, however, the joy and excitement on the faces of the children were visible upon meeting their friends again, along with this, the deserted corridors of educational institutions once again echoed with the laughter of children.
Parents welcomed the resumption of educational activities and said that the return of normal life is necessary for the education of children as well as their training.
Punjab schools get extended summer break
On the other hand, the Punjab government will reopen the schools and colleges on August 24, 2026.
According to the official notification issued by the Punjab Education Department, the educational institutions across the province were closed on May 22, 2026.
