Pakistan, Saudi Arabia Conclude Joint Military Exercise

Web desk: Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) have successfully concluded their joint military exercise, Al Battar-II, on 26 November in Tabuk, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

The exercise was held from 18 to 26 November. It focused on counter-terrorism operations.

Combat teams from Pakistan Army’s Special Services Group (SSG) and the KSA Army took part in the exercise. They demonstrated high levels of professionalism, operational skill, and teamwork.

The closing ceremony was attended by the General Officer Commanding SSG from Pakistan and senior military officials from Saudi Arabia.

Troops from both brotherly countries demonstrated exceptional standards of professionalism, operational skill, and interoperability throughout the exercise.

Al Battar-II emphasised training in urban combat, countering improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and improving tactical coordination through joint drills. The exercise also reinforced the long-standing military ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Officials said all training objectives were successfully met, highlighting the commitment of both countries to regional peace, security, and defence cooperation.
