Ahsan Iqbal releases 'inspirational' AI song dedicated to Pakistan's youth

Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal has shared a motivational anthem that has been dedicated to Pakistan’s youth to mark the country’s 79th Independence Day. The anthem was created with the assistance of artificial intelligence (AI).

The anthem has been inspired by philosopher-poet Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s philosophy of Khudi, translated to selfhood, and his concept of the shaheen or the falcon. The anthem is intended as a message of inspiration for the younger generation.

Sharing the announcement on X, Ahsan Iqbal said that Pakistan’s youth are the architects of the country’s future, which is why the anthem has been dedicated to them.

“Inspired by the timeless philosophy of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, this song carries the message of Khudi and the spirit of the Shaheen. Iqbal taught us that true strength lies within. A nation rises when its youth discover confidence, character, knowledge and an unshakable belief in their own potential,” he added in the X post.

He said that Allama Iqbal believed the secret to a nation’s progress lies in the confidence, strong character, knowledge and unwavering faith of its youth in their own abilities.

The planning minister also quoted one of Allama Iqbal’s well-known verses on khudi. He added that the philosophy encourages young people to recognise and unlock their true potential.

Referring to Iqbal’s concept of the shaheen, Ahsan Iqbal said, “Iqbal’s Shaheen is fearless, ambitious and free. It never accepts mediocrity and always aims for greater heights”.

He also cited Iqbal’s famous verse: “Tu Shaheen Hai, Parwaz Hai Kaam Tera, Tere Samne Aasman Aur Bhi Hain”

“Today, Pakistan needs a generation of Shaheens—young men and women who choose hope over despair, innovation over stagnation, and hard work over excuses. Under the vision of URAAN Pakistan, we are building a future driven by knowledge, technology, entrepreneurship and opportunity. That future belongs to you,” he said.

“May this song inspire every young Pakistani to awaken the power of Khudi, soar like the Shaheen, and dedicate their talent and energy to building a stronger, more prosperous and united Pakistan,” he concluded.

My dear young Pakistanis,
