A traffic warden’s twin daughters scored identical marks of 1183 out of 1200 in the Matric exams, making their parents proud, who had moved homes to support their daughters’ education.
Speaking to a channel, one of the sisters revealed that they appeared for their exams at different locations and had not scored the same marks in Class 9, making their identical Matric results even more surprising.
Areeba said the sisters used to study together and supported each other throughout their exam preparation. She dedicated their achievement to their parents, who made several sacrifices to ensure their daughters received a good education.
Their mother, who is a teacher, said she taught her daughters herself and that they did not attend any academy or tuition centre. She became emotional after seeing their results and said she was extremely happy that both her twin daughters had achieved the exact same marks.
Their father said his colleagues and seniors congratulated him on the happy occasion, adding that his daughters had made him very proud.
“I got emotional because we had to leave our own home and rent a house in the Kasur area for our daughters’ education,” he told the channel, smiling proudly.
Another record was made when Matric results were announced, a Sikh student secured a top position in the Lahore Board Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations for the first time in the board’s history.

The Sikh student named Onkar Singh earned 1,189 marks in the matriculation examinations, securing second position in the Science Group (Boys) under the Lahore Board. Singh expressed his gratitude and shared his future ambitions. He said his dream is to pursue a career in medicine and become a doctor so that he can serve humanity. He explained that helping people through healthcare has always been his primary goal and that he intends to continue working hard to achieve it.
Additionally, Onkar Singh stated that religious minorities in Pakistan enjoy freedom and protection, adding that he has always felt secure while pursuing his education. He credited his success to years of hard work, the unwavering prayers and support of his parents, and the guidance and dedication of his teachers throughout his academic journey.
