A Lahore sessions court on Tuesday summoned TikToker Rajab Butt and four other suspects to appear on August 18 for indictment in a case involving allegations of sexual assault and blackmailing of a social media influencer.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Zafaryab heard a private complaint filed by the influencer against Butt and the four other suspects and ordered all five to appear before the court for framing of charges.
The woman filed the complaint in 2025, alleging that the suspects sexually assaulted and later blackmailed her. She claimed to have evidence supporting her allegations, including WhatsApp conversations, a medical report and a statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The suspects have denied the allegations and previously secured pre-arrest bail from a sessions court.
Separately, Nawab Town police last month registered a case against Butt and his alleged accomplices over an incident at a cafe, where they were accused of attacking several women and opening fire during an altercation.
The case was registered on the complaint of the same woman who had accused Butt of sexual assault in 2025. In her July complaint, she alleged that Butt attacked her and several others at the cafe.
