Airblue, one of Pakistan’s top private airlines has officially launched a new inflight entertainment (IEF) system on Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day. This gives passengers a more engaging and personalised entertainment experience onboard its flights.

This Airflix feature reflects the airline’s continued focus on innovation, technology and enhancing the overall experience for passengers. It allows passengers to connect their personal devices to access onboard entertainment, including movies, TV shows, music, games, and a moving flight map during their journey.

How the Airflix system works?

Airflix is designed to give passengers convenient access to entertainment using their own smartphones, tablets and other compatible devices, connected through Airblue’s inflight entertainment network.

An Airblue official said the timing of the launch on Independence Day made the milestone even more meaningful, adding that the airline was introducing a more convenient entertainment system for passengers as part of the Independence Day celebrations. The official said Airblue remained committed to using technology and innovation to make air travel more convenient and enjoyable.

On the other hand, previously, Airblue announced two new weekly direct flights between Lahore (LHE) and Baku (GYD) . The flights will operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, according to the reports. They will provide non stop service from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, to Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Baku, and back.

In addition, Airblue will use its Airbus A320 aircraft for this route. Flights will leave Lahore in the mid morning and return from Baku in the afternoon.
