FPSC announces over 500 vacancies across federal departments

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced job advertisement by offering 524 vacancies across 68 recruitment places in various federal ministries and departments. 

Candidates can apply online until August 31, 2026. FPSC has tentatively scheduled written tests to begin from October 10, 2026. 

Posts categories

  • Secondary School Teacher (Male) BS-17
  • 98 vacancies advertised under the Federal Government Educational Institutions Directorate
  • 27 posts for Computer Instructor (Male)
  • 14 posts for Computer Instructor (Female)
  • The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) has offered 70 vacancies for Charge Nurse BS-16
  • 50 posts for Medical Officer BS-17
  • Other vacancies include 29 Lecturer (Male) posts in Gilgit-Baltistan
  • 23 Inspector BS-16 posts in the Islamabad Capital Territory Police
  • 22 Superintendent BS-16 positions in the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA)

Moreover, the advertisement also covers positions for engineers, doctors, nurses, teachers, IT professionals, meteorologists, legal officers, statisticians, and administrators, among other professionals.

The announced vacancies range from BS-16 to BS-20 in multiple organisations, including the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control, Ministry of National Health Services, Board of Investment, Pakistan Meteorological Department and Ministry of Climate Change. 

How to apply?

Candidates from different provinces may apply according to the domicile and quota requirements specified against each post. 

All applications must be submitted online through the official FPSC website, as the commission will not accept manual applications or hard copies. The application fee is Rs600 for BS-16 and BS-17 posts, Rs1,500 for BS-18, Rs2,500 for BS-19, and Rs3,000 for BS-20 and above, payable online through a dedicated PSID generated through the FPSC portal. 

Applicants are required to select the relevant post, complete the online application form, and provide a valid mobile number and email address to proceed with their application.
