Floodwaters have caused widespread damage in Ahmed Abad, Narowal, while rising water levels in the Indus River at Kalabagh have triggered low-level flooding in the Chenab River at Qadirabad Barrage. According to details, floodwaters have wreaked havoc in Ahmedabad town in Narowal. The Sair Bajwa-Nadali Road, which connects more than 20 villages, was swept away by floodwaters.
Due to the road being submerged, all the villages have lost land connectivity with the city. Residents are forced to cross floodwaters with their lives in their hands. Hundreds of acres of standing crops have been submerged in floodwaters. Farmers are facing severe financial losses due to the submerged crops, according to media reports.
