Renowned actress and singer Salma Agha has revealed why she chose to move to India despite having strong personal and professional ties to Pakistan. During a recent podcast appearance, the actress was asked why she chose India instead of Pakistan.
In response, Salma Agha explained that her decision was influenced by her family background and citizenship status. Responding to the question, she said it was a good one, explaining that she had never been a Pakistani citizen. Her family had moved to the UK, and all of them held British passports. She added that both her mother and grandmother were originally from Amritsar, India.
Salma Agha said that although she worked in Pakistan, the time she spent there remains a memorable part of her life.
