Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Watch 6 Active, also known as the Vitality Edition, in China, adding a new smartwatch to its Redmi wearable range.
The device combines an AMOLED display with health and fitness tracking, Bluetooth calling and a range of smart features.
The Redmi Watch 6 Active is priced at around $52 in China. It features a 470mAh battery, with Xiaomi claiming up to 18 days of battery life under light usage.

The Redmi Watch 6 Active has a 1.85-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 390 × 450 pixels and peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits. It also supports a colour Always-on Display.
The smartwatch is 9.9mm thick and weighs about 26g. It features 2.5D curved glass, a flat-edged frame, a side button and quick-release straps.
Xiaomi offers the watch in Silver, Pink Orange and a dark Black/Gray finish. It also carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The smartwatch supports more than 140 workout modes, with automatic detection available for several common exercises.
Health-monitoring features include heart-rate tracking, blood oxygen monitoring, sleep tracking and stress monitoring. The device can also alert users to unusually high or low heart rates and low blood oxygen levels.
The Redmi Watch 6 Active supports Bluetooth calling through its built-in microphone.
Users can also send quick replies to messages directly from the watch. Connectivity is provided through Bluetooth 5.3.
The smartwatch is compatible with iPhones and can sync workout data with Apple Health. It can also be used to remotely control an iPhone’s camera.
In China, Xiaomi plans to add QR-code payments through WeChat Pay and Alipay in a software update scheduled for September.

Xiaomi claims the watch can last up to 18 days with light use, around 12 days under normal usage and approximately six days when the Always-on Display and regular health monitoring features are enabled.
The smartwatch is priced at around $52 in China. Xiaomi has not yet announced details of pricing or availability in other markets.
