The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced new prices for petroleum products, decreasing the rates of high-speed diesel and petrol.
According to the notification, the price of petrol has been decreased by Rs 0.58 per litre. The price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs 0.17 per litre.
The new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 342.2 per litre. Similarly, the new price of diesel has been fixed at Rs 371.44 per litre.
Earlier, on Thursday, the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announced a reduction in the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD), providing marginal relief to consumers. According to the latest notification, the price of petrol has been cut by Rs0.50 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs0.19 per litre.
Following the revision, petrol will now be available at Rs342.60 per litre, while the new price of high-speed diesel has been fixed at Rs371.61 per litre. The latest adjustment comes amid frequent changes in petroleum prices under the government’s daily pricing mechanism.
