American President Donald Trump has come up with his own list of the nation’s presidents on social media, ranking himself the best in the “Greatest” category.
Trump ranked past presidents according to his own estimation of their legacy and performance.
Some of the country’s leading figures, such as Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson and Woodrow Wilson, were among those he ranked as “Great.”
Theodore Roosevelt was rated a step below as “Near Great”.
Other former presidents were categorised as “Average”, such as Bill Clinton, and Calvin Coolidge was categorised as “Below Average”.

Trump’s most severe criticisms were for Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Jimmy Carter, Ulysses S. Grant and Warren Harding, all of whom he classified in the “Failures” column.
Remarkably, some of the other more familiar US presidents were not included in Trump’s ranking.
John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, Harry Truman, Gerald Ford, Dwight D. Eisenhower, George H.W. Bush, and George W. Bush were not on the list.
Trump’s ranking is reportedly based in part on a ranking list published in 1948 in the Life magazine that was compiled by the American historians of the time.
But the newest version does have substantial differences: Trump is prominently featured at the very top.
The self-published ranking has drawn much attention and debate on social media because Trump ranked himself as the best president in United States history, omitting several of the more influential figures in the country’s history.
This ranking is subjective and based on Trump’s opinions of presidential greatness and not a historical analysis.
