Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Bishkek for a three-day official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic, where he will participate in key Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) engagements and hold bilateral meetings with regional leaders.
Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr Shehbaz Sharif was welcomed by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Mr Adylbek Kasymaliev upon his arrival.
During his visit, Shehbaz Sharif will attend the meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of State and the SCO Plus Summit.

Pakistan will also assume the chairmanship of the SCO Council of Heads of State for the next year.
On the sidelines of the SCO meetings, the Prime Minister is scheduled to hold bilateral discussions with leaders of participating countries.
He will also attend the opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games in Bishkek today.
Shehbaz Sharif is expected to hold detailed talks with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov on the full spectrum of Pakistan-Kyrgyzstan relations.
The two sides will review bilateral ties and explore avenues to enhance cooperation in trade and investment, energy, regional connectivity, education, tourism and people-to-people exchanges.
