Samsung has expanded its Galaxy Book 6 series with a more affordable laptop aimed at users who want the latest features without paying for the higher-end processors available in premium models.
The new Samsung Galaxy Book 6 comes with Intel Core 3 and Core 5 processors, replacing the more powerful Core Ultra 5 and Core Ultra 7 chips used in other models. The budget-friendly laptop retains several key features of the series, including a 14-inch display, Galaxy AI tools and a large-capacity battery.
Design and Display
The Galaxy Book 6 features a 14-inch LCD display with a WUXGA resolution of 1920×1200 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The screen offers up to 350 nits of brightness and comes with an anti-reflective coating for more comfortable viewing.
The laptop measures 313 x 221 x 15.7mm and weighs 1.35kg, making it relatively easy to carry for everyday use.
Samsung offers the device with Intel Core 3 or Core 5 processors, paired with Intel Graphics. It also features an Intel NPU capable of delivering up to 15 TOPS of AI performance, allowing supported AI tasks to be processed locally.
Memory and Storage
The Galaxy Book 6 is available with 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, while storage options range from 256GB to 1TB.
For video calls, the laptop features a 2-megapixel webcam capable of recording in 1080p. Audio is handled by stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
Battery and Connectivity
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Book 6 with a 61.2Wh battery, which is rated to provide up to 25 hours of usage on a single charge.
The laptop comes with a 45W USB Type-C charger, which can reportedly charge the battery to around 33% in 30 minutes.
Connectivity options include two USB Type-C ports, one USB Type-A port, HDMI 1.4, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4 and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Galaxy AI and Software
The Galaxy Book 6 also brings Samsung’s Galaxy AI features, including AI Select, AI Cut Out and Note Assist.
Depending on the configuration, the laptop runs either Windows 11 Home or Windows 11 Pro 25H2.
Price and Availability in Pakistan
The Samsung Galaxy Book 6 starts at $799. It is offered in Violet Silver and Gray color options.
