The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has announced an important deadline for women to collect their free Benazir SIMs by September 10, 2026.
The instructions apply to women receiving payments through the Benazir Kafaalat Programme. BISP has urged those who have not yet collected their free SIMs to complete the process before the deadline.

Eligible women should visit their nearest designated BISP office to collect their SIM free of charge. Completing this process is necessary to continue receiving quarterly financial assistance without interruption.
BISP officials have warned that beneficiaries who fail to obtain their Benazir SIMs may face problems receiving their next quarterly Kafaalat payment. According to the programme, payments cannot be transferred to the accounts of women who have not collected their free SIMs.
Beneficiaries have therefore been advised not to delay the process. Officials have summarised the new system with the message: “Get the SIM, receive the money.”
BISP has also instructed women to collect their SIMs only from authorised BISP offices. Beneficiaries should avoid unauthorised individuals or sources offering SIMs on behalf of the programme.
Earlier, the government had announced plans to provide digital wallets to all eligible beneficiaries of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) this year, allowing them to receive payments digitally and access a range of other financial services.
Speaking at the launch ceremony of Z-Wallet, Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani said the government, along with public and private sector institutions, was taking steps to promote digital payments across Pakistan.
