The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has opened a new centre in Islamabad for citizens seeking services related to federal arms licenses issued by the Ministry of Interior.
According to NADRA, all federal arms licence services have now been shifted to the Pakistan Aasaan Khidmat Centre in Sector G-9, Islamabad.
Previously, people could visit the NADRA Mega Centre in Blue Area or the NADRA Regional Head Office in G-10 for these services. However, citizens seeking federal arms licence services will now have to visit the newly designated centre in G-9.
New location for Arms Licence Services
NADRA has established its service facility inside the Pakistan Aasaan Khidmat Centre. The centre brings services from several government departments together at one location. It makes it easier for residents to access different government services without having to visit multiple offices.
What are the new office timings?
The Pakistan Aasaan Khidmat Centre will remain open seven days a week.
According to NADRA, its operating hours are from 8:00am to 8:00pm.
However, there are no changes in licence eligibility requirements or application rules.
NADRA announces 24 vacancies
On the other hand, previously, NADRA announced new vacancies for candidates seeking government jobs in Pakistan.
NADRA is hiring for 24 positions, including Junior Executive, also described as Data Entry Operator, and Naib Qasid posts.
Candidates will be selected through a walk-in test and interview process.
