Uzbekistan’s international airline Centrum Air has launched flights to Pakistan, further expanding air connectivity between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
Founded in January 2023, the airline’s main hub is Tashkent International Airport (TAS), and its fleet consists of modern Airbus aircraft, including the A320, A320neo, A321neo, and A330 models. It operates over 40 domestic and international routes across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, including destinations such as Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Delhi, Lahore, and Phuket.
The first flight from Tashkent arrived at Karachi Airport at 4:20am on September 3, carrying passengers aboard an Airbus A320.
The new route will make travel easier for businessmen, investors, tourists, students and families, while giving Pakistani travellers greater access to Uzbekistan and the wider Central Asian region.
With the launch of the Tashkent-Karachi service, direct flights between Pakistan and Uzbekistan have increased to eight per week.
New airline Riyadh Air has officially launched its operations in Pakistan, with its inaugural flight from Riyadh arriving at Islamabad International Airport on Friday evening with passengers.
Riyadh Air is expected to operate seven flights a week between Riyadh and Islamabad. It operated its first commercial flight on October 26, 2025.
