Actress Momina Iqbal has called out Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Saqib Chadhar after he appeared on Hina Niazi’s podcast, saying that the politician presented fake proofs and chose to share his side only on his friend’s podcast.
Sharing a video of Saqib Chadhar attending Hina Niazi’s wedding, Momina pointed out that the two know each other. She said he had asked his friend to verify the alleged fake proofs.
“You were doing it publicly, so you had to show all these things to the public on camera and let them verify these fake papers”, she added.
She said she could present multiple pieces of evidence but was being restricted by the NCCIA, adding that that the crime investigation agency had given him the right to do anything.
Earlier, Iqbal had accused Saqib of harassment, allegations he denied. Momina later got married, with her husband standing by her and supporting her throughout the proceedings.
During the podcast, Saqib claimed that Momina knew he was already married and had been in contact with his wife. He said he had records of video calls and other communications that he believes support his position.
He also added that he is willing to apologise publicly if any evidence showed that he had harassed Momina during that period.
