A Pakistani man has become a billionaire overnight after winning the Dh15 million grand prize in Big Ticket’s Series 290 live lucky draw in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The prize is worth approximately Rs1.14 billion.
Other winners also received cash prizes of Dh100,000, including people from South Asian countries such as India and Bangladesh.
Following the conclusion of Series 290, Big Ticket’s next promotion will offer an even bigger Dh20 million grand prize.

Shaukat Aftab, 64, won the Dh15 million grand prize after purchasing lottery tickets for almost 15 years. After years of trying his luck, he finally hit the jackpot.
Aftab initially suspected that the call informing him about his win was a scam and did not believe the news.
He then verified his ticket number, confirming that he had won the grand prize.
