Pakistan has dispatched 100 tonnes of humanitarian assistance to flood-hit Nepal to support relief efforts.
The Foreign Office announced the development, saying the aid was sent to Nepal on the directions of Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif.

A send-off ceremony was held at Islamabad International Airport, attended by Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and NDMA Chairman Lieutenant General Inam Haider Malik.
The Ambassador of Nepal to Pakistan, along with senior officials from the Foreign Office, NDMA and humanitarian organisations, also attended the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Tariq expressed solidarity with the people of Nepal on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan.
In a separate post, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families and all those affected. Pakistan stands in solidarity with the Government and people of Nepal and remains ready to extend all possible support in this difficult hour.”

At least 1,375 people have died and thousands remain missing following catastrophic flash floods and landslides along the Nepal-China border.
In August, a major glacier and mountain collapse in the Himalayas triggered sudden and massive flash floods.
Rescue operations are still underway, with authorities and emergency teams continuing their efforts to locate and assist those affected. However, thousands of people remain missing, leaving families anxiously waiting for news of their loved ones.
