Pakistan’s young martial arts star Fatima Naseem has achieved another major milestone by breaking an Indian athlete’s record and taking her career tally to 10 Guinness World Records.
She held eggs in both hands while throwing 340 punches in one minute, surpassing Indian athlete Divya Jyoti Sarkar’s previous record of 331 punches.
This is not Fatima’s first record-breaking achievement. She set her first world record at the age of just seven and has continued to make her mark internationally.
Fatima has also earned recognition in a stretching category. She held a stretching position between two chairs for one minute and 45 seconds, exceeding the required benchmark of one minute and 30 seconds.
Yet, despite her extraordinary achievements at such a young age, Fatima reportedly has not received formal government sponsorship or institutional support.
Her family, meanwhile, has an extraordinary record of its own. Fatima’s father, mother, grandfather and brother are also Guinness World Record holders. Collectively, the family has reportedly secured more than 180 world records for Pakistan.
The achievement further underlines Fatima’s versatility, with her record-breaking feats extending beyond traditional martial arts disciplines.
With her latest achievements, Fatima Naseem has become the first Pakistani woman to reach 10 Guinness World Records, further strengthening her reputation as one of Pakistan’s most successful young martial artists.
Earlier, Irfan Mehsood, a Pakistani martial artist from Dera Ismail Khan, has broken another Guinness World Record for ‘Most finger tip push ups carrying an 80 lb pack in one minute (male)’, previously held by Sverre Diesen from Norway.
Diesen had completed 38 fingertip push-ups and took the record on May 30, 2025, in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Irfan Mehsud broke this record by completing 42 push-ups on June 2, 2025.
Mehsood now holds the world record for the most push-up categories, with 70 records at the world level. Most of these records were achieved while carrying weights of 100, 80, 60 and 40 pounds.
He has also set records in various other martial art categories, such as squats, step-ups, knee strikes, elbow strikes, high jumps, and star jumps.
