The Principal of Peshawar Postgraduate Nursing College Hayatabad, Bibi Sultania, has been removed from her post, according to a notification issued on Wednesday.
Additionally, the Health Department has directed Bibi Sultania to report to the Directorate General Health Sciences.
The Principal of Government Nursing College HMC, Shabana Noor, has been assigned the additional charge of Principal of Peshawar Postgraduate Nursing College Hayatabad.
Health Department has also issued a notification regarding the change of Principal and assignment of additional charge.
In addition to this, the police officials DSP Abid Afridi and Hayatabad SHO Muhammad Kamran were removed from their posts in action against the Peshawar Hayatabad Post-Graduate College of Nursing incident.
According to the reports, the committee has also recommended the expulsion of two students from the college. This has been done for harassing teachers, disrupting classes and inciting students.
The names of these students are reported to be Muhammad Siraj and Abbas Khan.
Is Postgraduate College of Nursing in Hayatabad open?
Previously, the Postgraduate College of Nursing in Hayatabad was closed until September 12 following unrest and concerns over the security situation, the college administration said.
According to a notification issued by the administration, classes at the college have been suspended, and students have been ordered to vacate the hostel.

According to the details, the students held a protest at the college on September 7 in support of their demands.
The protest reportedly turned tense after clashes and alleged violence against students.
FIR registered against 26 students
Police had registered an FIR against 26 students in connection with the incident at the nursing college.
The FIR includes charges related to allegedly harassing and threatening teachers, disrupting the security situation and taking the law into their own hands.
The authorities have also formed a three-member high-level committee, headed by the Special Secretary Health, to investigate the incident.
The committee has been directed to complete its inquiry and submit a report within one day.
