IndiGo chaos: Atif Aslam’s song became a stress reliever for stranded passengers

IndiGo chaos

Amid the IndiGo chaos, a stranded passenger began singing Atif Aslam’s song at Mumbai airport.

Zayn Raza, an Indian musician, sang Atif’s famous song “Woh Lamhe“, where other stranded passengers were also sitting.

Many enjoyed the little concert, sang with him, and made videos.

Zayn uploaded the video on his Instagram, with the caption, “Flight delay tha… toh live concert shuru kar diya.
IndiGo ne delay diya, maine melody diya. Mumbai to Patna became Mumbai to Pata Nahi Kab Jayenge.”

Atif Aslam’s song brought smiles to everyone. He is cherished in Pakistan and loved across the border in India.

IndiGo cancelled 385 flights on the fifth day of a crisis at the country’s biggest airline, which has crippled air travel.

With IndiGo’s spate of cancellations, fares rose on flights operated by other airlines on popular routes. The government said it was capping fares to maintain pricing discipline.

The flight cancellations are the biggest crisis ever for 20-year-old IndiGo, which has an over 60 per cent market share in India.

On Friday, more than 1,000 IndiGo flights were cancelled. After the government announced the exemptions to the rules for IndiGo, the airline said it could return to normal operations between December 10 and 15.
