The Provincial Health Services Academy (PHSA), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has announced admissions for the Lady Health Visitor (LHV) Diploma Programme for the 2026-28 session through its network of public health schools across the province.
According to the admission notice, eligible female candidates can apply for admission to the programme. The last date to submit applications is October 8, 2026, while the entry tests will be conducted at designated public health schools on October 15 and 16, 2026.
Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs600 and submit the completed admission form along with the required documents according to the prescribed procedure.
Eligibility criteria
Female candidates holding Matriculation with Science subjects and at least 45 per cent marks are eligible to apply. The required science subjects include Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Candidates with FSc pre-medical and at least 45 per cent marks can also apply. Applicants must also fulfil the age, domicile and other requirements specified in the official admission notice.
PHSA will prepare merit lists based on the prescribed admission criteria. Candidates with FSc pre-medical qualifications will have their merit calculated according to the notified formula, while Matric Science candidates will also be considered under the applicable criteria. Additional marks for Hafiz-e-Quran candidates will be awarded in accordance with the relevant rules.
Entry test schedule
PHSA has announced different entry test dates for its public health schools. The tests will be held as follows:
- Public Health School, Hayatabad, Peshawar: October 15, 2026
- Public Health School, Charsadda Road, Peshawar: October 16, 2026
- Public Health School, Abbottabad: October 15, 2026
- Public Health School, Saidu Sharif/Swat: October 15, 2026
- Public Health School, Bannu: October 15, 2026
Candidates should carefully check the admission schedule and appear at the designated centre on the date assigned to them.
Application process
Eligible candidates are required to obtain and complete the prescribed LHV admission form and submit it to the relevant public health school along with the required educational and personal documents.
Applicants must also deposit the Rs600 processing fee and retain the payment receipt and other application details for future reference.
PHSA has advised candidates to submit their applications before the October 8 deadline, as applications received after the closing date will not be considered under the announced admission schedule.
The LHV Diploma Programme is being offered through PHSA’s public health school network, providing eligible female candidates an opportunity to pursue professional training in healthcare and maternal and child health services.
