If you have forgotten your Pak ID password or are unable to log in to your account, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has shared a simple way to recover access.
According to NADRA, users who cannot access their Pak ID account because they have forgotten their password can reset it by following a few simple steps.
First, users need to enter their CNIC number on the Pak ID login screen and select the “Forgot Password” option.
They will then be asked to enter an email address. NADRA said that if users do not remember the old email address linked to their account, they can enter their current active email address and select the “Proceed” option.
An OTP (one-time password) will then be sent to the email address provided. Users will need to enter the OTP and complete the biometric verification process according to the instructions provided by NADRA.
Once the biometric verification is completed, users will be able to set a new password for their Pak ID account and log in again.
NADRA has advised citizens to use an active email address to maintain access to their Pak ID accounts and keep their account information secure.
