The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced job opportunities for candidates seeking employment in Islamabad and Quetta, inviting applications for the position of Assistant Director.
According to NADRA, the recruitment is being carried out for its Governance, Risk Management and Compliance department. The selected candidates will be responsible for various duties related to security and risk management.
The responsibilities of the appointed officers will include reviewing compliance with security frameworks, conducting risk assessments, preparing risk registers and carrying out information security audits.
The officers will also be responsible for developing relevant policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and security controls.
NADRA said practical knowledge and experience with security standards and frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 42001 and PKI/Web Trust will be considered important for the position.
The role will also involve identifying security risks associated with emerging technologies and artificial intelligence.
Candidates will be expected to assess potential risks arising from generative AI and large language models (LLMs), as well as address security threats such as prompt injection, data exposure and shadow AI.
According to NADRA, candidates holding professional certifications such as ISO 27001, CISM and CISA will be given preference.
The positions will be based in Islamabad and Quetta. Interested candidates can submit their applications online through NADRA’s official careers portal.
