PCB launches its own live cricket streaming platform

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has launched its own live cricket streaming platform, PCB Live, allowing fans to watch cricket matches and access exclusive content on their mobile devices. The new digital platform will offer live cricket matches, highlights, replays, player interviews, expert analysis, domestic cricket coverage and archived matches.

According to the announcement, all three T20I matches between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, scheduled for October 9, 11 and 13, 2026, at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, will be streamed live on PCB Live.

The platform aims to provide cricket fans with convenient access to live action and exclusive Pakistan cricket content through a single digital service. Fans can access the platform through its official website at https://getlive.pcb.com.pk/ or download the app from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka will begin their three-match T20I series on Friday, October 9, with the opening match scheduled to be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The match will begin at 8:00 pm Pakistan Standard Time, with both teams aiming to gain an early advantage in the series.

Pakistan enter the contest as the favourites, with available match data giving them a 67% chance of victory, compared with 33% for Sri Lanka. The hosts will look to turn that statistical advantage into a strong performance under the lights.

Pakistan will be led by Sahibzada Farhan, with a squad combining experienced campaigners and promising young players. The batting lineup features Fakhar Zaman, Saim Ayub, Shadab Khan and Khawaja Nafay, while Abdul Samad and Arafat Minhas provide additional options. If selected, Fakhar Zaman will provide Pakistan with an experienced left-handed option at the top of the order, while Saim Ayub can contribute with both bat and ball.

Pakistan’s bowling attack includes Naseem Shah, Abrar Ahmed, Shadab Khan and Sufiyan Muqeem, offering a combination of pace and spin. Salman Mirza adds another left-arm pace option to the squad.

The bowling unit is expected to play a key role in the opening match, particularly during the middle overs, when Pakistan can utilise the spin options of Abrar Ahmed, Shadab Khan and Sufiyan Muqeem.

Sri Lanka will also enter the series with a strong mix of experience and emerging talent. Kusal Mendis will lead the side and take responsibility behind the stumps, while Dasun Shanaka, Dushmantha Chameera and Maheesh Theekshana are among the team’s key experienced players.
