Normal life is gradually returning to Peshawar as the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service has resumed after remaining suspended for the past two days due to law and order concerns.

The suspension of the BRT service has caused severe difficulties for commuters, as a large number of people in the provincial capital rely on the transport system for their daily travel. Government employees, businesspeople, students and other commuters regularly use the service to reach their workplaces and educational institutions.

According to the administration, the BRT service was suspended for two days because of the prevailing law and order situation. Roads at various locations had also been blocked by placing shipping containers, disrupting routine movement across the city.

However, the situation has now improved, and the BRT service has been restored on several routes. Bus operations have resumed from Chamkani to Karkhano and Hayatabad, while services on Kohat Road and other routes have also been restored.

With the resumption of public transport, commuters are once again using the BRT to travel to schools, colleges, universities, offices and business centres.

Educational institutions across Peshawar, including schools, colleges and universities, have also reopened, allowing students to return to their regular academic activities.

Meanwhile, roads that had been closed during the recent situation have also been reopened, facilitating the movement of traffic and restoring routine activities in different parts of the city.

The restoration of public transport, reopening of educational institutions and clearance of blocked roads have helped ease the difficulties faced by residents over the past two days, with normal life gradually returning to the provincial capital.
