Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) MNA and Women’s Wing President Naeema Kishwar has stated that women within the party face sexual harassment, threats and restrictions on their freedom to express dissent.
Speaking during a live broadcast of a private television programme, Naeema Kishwar said female party members who raise their voices or disagree with certain decisions face intimidation and are pressured into silence.
She further alleged that women who refuse to follow the directives of Maulana Asad Mahmood face expulsion from the party. Her remarks have raised questions about the treatment of women within JUI-F, particularly regarding their safety, rights and freedom of expression.
The allegations have brought renewed attention to the working environment and position of women within the party’s organisational structure.
