DSP arrested for murdering wife and daughter

Muhammad Usman Haider Gujjar, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), has been arrested on charges of murdering his wife and daughter.

According to reports, the accused officer has confessed.

Usman Haider allegedly shot and killed his wife and daughter.

The DSP had earlier lodged a First Information Report (FIR) at Burki police station, claiming that his wife and daughter had been abducted.

Police recovered one body from the Kahna area, while the other was recovered from Sheikhupura.

Following the developments, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab ordered the suspension of DSP Usman Haider, who was serving in the Kahna Police Investigation Wing.

Why did DSP Usman kill his family?

Police further disclosed that the deceased woman was DSP Usman Haider’s first wife, and tensions reportedly escalated after his second marriage. Ongoing marital conflicts are believed to have played a key role in the tragic incident.

Police said suspicion arose after the DSP submitted the missing persons report with a delay.

Another murder case

In another shocking murder case involving Dr Warda, disturbing revelations have emerged.

According to police, the main accused, Rida Jadoon, allegedly arranged the murder of Dr Warda for Rs10 million.

Rida Jadoon is reportedly a close friend of the victim, Dr Warda.

It stated that Dr Warda died from suffocation, while her neck was also broken. This indicates that she was subjected to severe torture.
