SYDNEY: Australia has not included Mitchell Starc in the 15-member squad for the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka and India despite his impressive outing in Ashes.
Australia has announced white-ball captain Mitchell Marsh is set to lead a side stacked with spin options but missing several big names.
The selection committee has skipped powerful all-rounder Mitchell Owen despite his strong recent form for Hobart Hurricanes, while also choosing to go without a left-arm fast bowler following the retirement of Mitchell Starc and the injury to Spencer Johnson.
