RAWALPINDI: Tuesday, January 6th 2026, was the day of the meeting with Imran Khan. PTI workers had announced a Holy Quran recitation at 1 PM, but so far, no workers have been present. Strict security arrangements have been put in place.
Hours have passed; however, no worker has arrived to conduct the recitation of the Holy Quran. Only 10-15 people were present. Today was the day of the meeting with Imran Khan. The names of 6 lawyers came forward who will be meeting Imran Khan.
They include Barrister Gohar, Salman Akram Raja and four more lawyers. Aleema Khan will also be coming to meet his brother. The other two sisters will also be coming from Sargodha.
This incident shows the growing unpopularity of Imran Khan and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf. The party and its leaders have repeatedly disappointed the people of Pakistan.
They have also spread misinformation and political instability in the country. The people have seen that PTI and its leaders have specific goals they want to pursue. They will do anything to achieve them, even harm Pakistan.
Hence, the party is growing unpopular day by day. Almost no one came for the recitation of the Holy Quran, which was announced by the PTI leaders.
This proves that PTI and Imran Khan have become highly unpopular.
Recently, a PTI MPA was also seen manhandling a traffic police officer doing his duty. The MPA slapped the police officer four times and then pushed him. Involvement of PTI leaders in such incidents has raised questions over the character of the whole PTI. The common people of Pakistan have now started distancing themselves from the party.
Many of its party leaders are residing in foreign countries and spewing misinformation and fake news against the reputed institutions of Pakistan. The people of Pakistan have identified the source of misinformation and are gradually distancing themselves from it.
