KP CM Sohail Afridi embarks on three-day visit to Karachi, faces flight delays

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi landed at Islamabad Airport today to begin his three-day tour of Sindh, including engagements in Karachi and Hyderabad, focusing on public meetings and political outreach.

As a part of his Sindh tour, CM Sohail Afridi will meet with party leaders, lawyers, trade associations, the Sindh Chief Minister, and members of the press.

CM KP Sohail Afridi will meet with the party leaders in Karachi and Hyderabad. His visit also includes the Karachi Press Club and Mazar-e-Quaid. Easing the way for public and cultural engagements during the tour.

KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi’s flight, Airblue PA-201 to Karachi, experienced a delay due to unfavourable weather conditions.

Scheduled to leave at 9:00 AM, the flight departed at 12.30 PM and was expected to land in Karachi by 2.30 PM.

Regarding this, CM KP Sohail Afridi said, “This flight is being delayed intentionally.”

At Islamabad Airport, the public warmly welcomed KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, taking selfies and greeting him warmly.

He was accompanied by Provincial Cabinet Members and KP’s national and provincial assembly members, underscoring the importance of this visit.

He added that the people of the province are known for their hospitality.

He said that Sohail Afridi is free to carry out political activities as long as he remains within the limits of the law and the Constitution.

Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam said that the CM of KP Sohail Afridi, would be welcomed with full protocol throughout his stay in Sindh, regardless of the disagreements with PTI.

On the previous events, CM KP Sohail Afridi apologised for using inappropriate language during his visit to Lahore. He accepted his flaws but also called it a ‘reaction to action’.

Furthermore, CM KP Sohail Afridi showed his willingness to hold talks.

He said, ‘I will surely meet CDF COAS Field Marshal Asim Munir, if there is any function or meeting’.
