Pakistan has won the toss and selected to bowl first against Sri Lanka. The final match was delayed due to rain at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Due to the delay, the game faced the match has been reduced to 12 overs per side. The game was delayed for around two hours.
The Pakistan has made two changes to their lineup. Salman Mirza and Fakhar Zaman will be resting in this match. Pacer Naseem Shah and the Debutant Khawaja Nafay have been included in the playing XI.
The Green Shirts, as of now, lead the three match series with 1-0 after winning their first game. The second match was abandoned without a single ball bowled due to persistent rain at the same venue.
Pakistan was also able to take two early wickets, one by Naseem Shah and the other by Mohammad Wasim.
At the end of 12 overs, Sri Lanka was able to score 160 runs in their innings. This is a huge target considering the match is only 12 overs. Sri Lanka lost 6 wickets. The highest scorer for Sri Lanka was Dasun Shanaka, who scored 34 runs in 9 balls.
Pakistan was not able to seal the series. Sri Lanka won the match by 14 runs. Pakistan was only able to make 146 runs on the loss of 8 wickets. The bowls ran out, and Pakistan lost the match. The top scorer for Pakistan was Salman Agha, who made 45 runs on 12 balls.
