Pakistan cruised to a comfortable six-wicket victory over Scotland in Match 12 of the Under-19 World Cup at the Takashinga Sports Club in Harare.
According to media reports, Pakistan’s national Under-19 cricket team has registered a convincing six-wicket victory over Scotland after successfully chasing a target of 188 runs in their match at the Takashinga Sports Club on Monday.
Pakistan reached the target in 43.1 overs, losing four wickets in the process. Usman Khan starred with the bat, scoring an impressive 75 runs, while Ahmed Hussain contributed a valuable 47. Sameer Minhas added 28 runs, Ali Hassan Baloch scored 15, and captain Farhan Yousuf remained unbeaten on 18 to guide the team home.
Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and opted to field first. Scotland were bowled out for 187 runs in 48.1 overs. Their innings got off to a shaky start, with opening batsman Theo Robinson dismissed for just 4 runs. Rory Grant scored 21, Finlay Carter 12, and Max Chaplin was out for 2.
Ollie Jones provided some resistance with 36 runs, while captain Thomas Knight top-scored with 37. Finlay Jones also made a useful contribution, scoring 33 runs.
