TikTok has removed a total of 28,198,284 videos in Pakistan violating its community guidelines for the third quarter (July – September) of the financial year 2025-26, according to the latest Community Guidelines Enforcement Report. The report shows the platform’s continuing efforts in keeping the environment safe and secure for its users.
During this time, TikTok has recorded a proactive rate of removal of 99.8 percent in Pakistan, and 95.9 percent of videos were removed within 24 hours of being uploaded.
While most enforcement actions are conducted through automated technology, human safety teams focus on areas demanding judgment, such as reviewing appeals, consulting experts and responding to emerging situations.
Globally, the platform removed 204 million videos for the same quarter which was about 0.7 percent of all uploaded content.
Of these, 186.6 million videos were removed by the use of automated detection while 8.95 million videos were restored after further review. The rate of the proactive removal globally was 99.3 percent, of which 94.8 percent of flagged content was removed within 24 hours.
In addition to content removal, TikTok removed 118.6 million fake accounts and 22.2 million suspected accounts of users under the age of 13.
According to the report, 30 percent of the removed content involved sensitive or adult content, 15.7 percent of the content violated safety and civility standards, and 2.7 percent of the content violated privacy or security guidelines.
Furthermore, 32.9 percent of the videos were categorised as misinformation; 34.4 percent were changed or artificially created (AI-generated).
TikTok highlighted that publishing its enforcement reports regularly allows for transparency of TikTok’s content moderation practices and reflects the company’s dedication to user safety, platform integrity, and promote a positive digital experience for the company’s global community.
