Pakistani citizens warned of new work visa scam

The Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment (BEOE) has issued a fresh warning to Pakistani citizens against fraudulent travel agencies falsely claiming to arrange foreign work visas.

The bureau stated that these agencies have no legal connection to overseas employment processing and citizens must not pay them any fees for job or visa services. Only licensed Overseas Employment Promoters (OEPs) are authorised to facilitate work abroad.

Citizens have been urged to verify the legitimacy of recruitment agencies through the official list available on the BEOE website: www.beoe.gov.pk/list-of-oeps.

Why Do Visas Get Rejected?

You must understand the reasons for rejection first. The immigration officers check everything. They want to ensure you are a safe visitor. The immigration officers want to know if you will return to Pakistan. They look for specific red flags.

Common reasons include:

  • Incomplete forms.
  • Blurry photos.
  • Unclear passport copies.
  • Old passports.
  • Previous overstays.

We analyze these rejections often. Most happen because applicants rush. They do not read the requirements. They trust agents who do not know the rules. You must take control of your application.
