Popular Pakistani actress Saba Qamar Zaman has openly praised the Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, for her ongoing initiatives to improve public services and infrastructure in the province.

Posting on her social media account, Saba Qamar stated that every step taken for better governance, public welfare, and development should be appreciated.
Development benefits everyone, she stated, adding that she wishes this positive momentum continues for Punjab and its people.
According to recent reports, CM Maryam Nawaz recently held a meeting with provincial officials in which commissioners and deputy commissioners were directed to install sewer covers across Punjab.
Additionally, they were asked to ensure proper construction of sewer lines, so that public safety is improved and accidents can be prevented.
A video clip of the Chief Minister Maryam’s speech went viral on social media.
After this video went viral, the popular actress praised the performance and said that she had noticed positive changes across the Punjab province.
Adding that CM Maryam’s recent address has shown a real commitment to development.

CM Maryam Nawaz’s kisan card
One of many initiatives by the Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, is the Kisan Card.
In the scheme, the farmers have been provided Rs100 billion in loans. Out of which Rs65 billion has already been utilised.
Farmers spent Rs47 billion on fertiliser purchases, which was conducive to a historic rise in urea sales.
Punjab recorded a new landmark with 1.356 million metric tons of urea sold. It marks a 37 per cent increase compared to the previous year.
“The progress of farmers is essential for Pakistan’s overall development, emphasising that strong agriculture remains the backbone of the national economy,” Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said.
Tractor subsidy scheme
In this scheme, 10,000 tractors ranging from 50 to 75 horsepower are being provided to farmers in the first phase.
And the second phase is underway, in which the balloting and distribution of 10,000 tractors with 75 to 85 horsepower will be given.
