The National Security Workshop organized by Pakistan Army successfully concluded in Peshawar.
This national-level workshop continued from 11th to 22nd of this month. Different sections of society including elders, academia, media, political leaders, youth and civil society participated in the workshop.
According to Radio Pakistan the eighty percent of the workshop participants were from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially from the merged districts, while twenty percent belonged to other parts of the country.
A total of ninety-one participants and one hundred fifty scholars from different universities of Peshawar attended the workshop. Special session was arranged for participants of the security workshop with the Prime Minister and other state officials.
In the concluding session, the Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Omer Ahmed Bukhari held a detailed discussion with the participants in a special session on national security and shed light on misleading propaganda and measures taken against terrorism.
The participants paid tribute to the sacrifices of the Pakistan Army in war against terrorism and reiterated their unwavering solidarity with the Pakistani Armed Forces.
Winter internship for over 4500 students in Pakistan
Earlier the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) conducted its Winter Internship 2026, focusing on the intellectual grooming of youth and strengthening national awareness.
As per details the internship program was being hold across 27 different venues in 25 cities nationwide that reflecting ISPR’s pledges to nurturing capable and confident youth for national development.
More than 4,500 students participated in the winter internship.
As part of the program male and female students are being given special lectures on national security related topics.
Visits to military installations had also been included to familiarise participants with the professional training and operational environment of the Pakistan Army.
Students took part in the internship described the program as highly important for the training and guidance of the younger generation.
They said the ISPR internship provides a positive platform to understand facts and counter negative propaganda.
Expressing their affection for the Pakistan Army the students stated that the army stands with the people and the people stand with the army.
