Indian PM, Narendra Modi’s name has been mentioned in the recently released Epstein files where Jeffrey Epstein claimed Modi took his advice and danced and sang in Israel for the benefit of the US President. He further alleged that the act worked.
Several X users including Indian Congress leaders, have revealed the Indian PM’s involvement in the Epstein files, calling it a matter of ‘national shame’. Another user said that a convicted child trafficker claiming influence over Modi raises serious concerns over his integrity and accountability.
Indian netizens are now demanding Modi to explain his connection with the controversial figure, pointing fingers at why he had access to Epstein in the first place.
Epstein files
The United States Department of Justice released millions of new Epstein files on January 30. It is said to be the largest number of documents shared by the US government since last year.
Around three million pages, 180,000 images along with 2000 videos were posted to the public. Many emails and documents date back to over a decade ago.
The new documents reveal Epstein’s interactions with prominent high-profile individuals. They also include information about his time in prison and a psychological report.
Investigative documents on Jeffrey Epstein’s partner Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted of facilitating child trafficking with the former, were also brought to light.
