Pakistan Connect did a fact check and dismissed claims circulating on social media about firing and explosions at a new Chinese camp in Gwadar, terming them false and misleading. According to Fact Check, propaganda shared by an Indian RAW-linked account, “Baba Banaras,” has no connection with ground realities.
The clarification said that videos being circulated online to support claims of an attack in Gwadar are unrelated and do not show any recent incident in Balochistan. Fact Check also dismissed reports of an attack on Mastung Central Jail and the alleged release of prisoners, stating that no such incident took place. The videos shared by BLA-linked social media accounts regarding Mastung are from 2021 and are being reused to create chaos.
