GREAT scholarships for Bangladeshi students 2026-27
The GREAT Scholarship is a programme run by the government of Great Britain and the British Council.
It is offered in partnership with selected universities. The scholarship gives students from 18 countries financial support for a one-year postgraduate taught course.
For Bangladeshi students, the following universities are offering GREAT Scholarships in selected courses:
- Cranfield University
- Leeds Arts University
- Keele University
- University of Manchester
- Ulster University
- University of East Anglia
- University of Glasgow
- University of Portsmouth
Eligibility criteria
Bangladeshi students are eligible to apply. Over 140 scholarships are available for the 2026-27 academic year.
They are offered across 60 universities in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
The scholarship gives 10,000 pounds towards tuition fees. It covers a range of one-year postgraduate taught courses in different subjects.
The programmes include arts and creative design, law, science, technology, and other fields.
To apply, students must have a valid passport. They must meet the English language requirements of the university they choose.
The students who are interested must also have an undergraduate degree in a field related to their chosen course.
Applicants are also expected to stay in contact with the British Council and their university.
