Good news for the residents of the federal capital, Islamabad, as the display of street numbers and the identification of plot locations on Google Maps in Sector C-14 are in full swing, and the entire process will be completed soon.
The basic infrastructure work in Sector C-14 is in its final stages, and the plots in the sector are ready to be handed over to the allottees. The formal process of handing over possession in Sector C-14 will begin soon.
This was disclosed in a high-level meeting of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), which was held under the chairmanship of its Chairman and Chief Commissioner of Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa.
The Chairman directed that the display of street numbers and the identification of plot locations on Google Maps in Sector C-14 be completed as soon as possible.
Basic infrastructure work of E-12
Regarding Sector E-12, officials informed that basic infrastructure work in Sub-Sectors 1 and 2 has been completed.
Plots in these sub-sectors are also ready to be handed over to the allottees. The Chairman directed that the clearance of the entrance road to Sector E-12 be completed at the earliest.
He also instructed that all illegal constructions and encroachments in the sector be removed in accordance with the law. Furthermore, he emphasised that the identification of plot locations in Sector E-12 on Google Maps should be finalised promptly.
Progress of development work in Sector 1-12
The Chairman was also briefed on the progress of development work in Sector I-12. Officials informed him that almost all residential and commercial plots in the sector have been developed and that the formal process of handing over possession to the owners will begin soon.
Muhammad Ali Randhawa stated that providing possession of developed plots to citizens is the CDA’s top priority and that this process should commence without delay. He noted that after decades, the CDA is moving forward with handing over possession of developed plots in new sectors of the federal capital, Islamabad.
He further directed that plots in all sectors be properly identified on Google Maps and that citizens be provided with clear information about the locations of their plots. He emphasised that, alongside expediting the handover process, the remaining development work and the provision of basic facilities must also be ensured.
The Chairman concluded by stating that all available resources will be utilised to develop new sectors and provide the best possible residential facilities to the citizens of Islamabad.
