Pakistan has been awarded the IFN Pakistan Deal of the Year 2025 and the IFN Syndicated Finance Deal of the Year 2025 awards, highlighting the successful execution of this important transaction on the global Islamic finance platform.

In response to this achievement, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, remarked that the awards reflect international confidence in Pakistan’s economic management and its capability to devise innovative and Shariah-compliant financing solutions amidst challenging global market conditions.

He described the recognition as a robust endorsement of the government’s initiatives to diversify funding sources, enhance external buffers, and expand Pakistan’s presence in global Islamic capital markets.

The Minister noted that the US$1 billion syndicated financing not only marks a financial milestone but also showcases Pakistan’s renewed credibility and disciplined approach to macroeconomic management.
