Khalistan leaders pledge $1B to join Board of Peace

Members of the Khalistan movement gathered outside the Board of Peace meeting and demanded the liberation of Indian Punjab on Thursday.

They also called for their inclusion in the Board of Peace and said they are ready to offer 1 billion dollars to become members.

One of the members stated, “We offer 1 billion dollars to become a member of the Board of Peace so we can liberate Punjab from Indian occupation.”

Speaking to PTV, Jagjit Singh said the group had come to present its proposal.

The members said they have offered 1 billion dollars in exchange for membership on the Board of Peace.

According to them, their goal is to liberate Punjab from what they described as Indian occupation.

They said President Trump has taken steps to stop wars around the world.

Further adding that the group is present to thank Trump and support his peace initiative. They said they want to join the Board of Peace so they can pursue their objective.

They said that in 1947, Sikhs sought an independent state, but their leaders joined India at that time.

Further, they stated that over the past 80 years, Sikhs have faced persecution and atrocities in India.

They said the movement is seeking liberation through a peaceful and democratic process, adding that they want a Khalistan referendum.

According to them, they are holding banners thanking President Trump for his efforts to stop wars.

The members said that their message to India is clear. Adding that they want liberation through a legal and democratic referendum.

They stated that the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was attempting to target Khalistan movement leaders. They further added that the movement will continue its struggle.

Further, they said they have submitted a proposal to donate 1 billion dollars for an official referendum.

They said that Khalistan, under Indian control, faces genocide, economic suppression, repression, and assassinations.

The members said that joining the Board of Peace would help resolve the sovereignty issue through a legal and peaceful vote.

They added that it would also support a US alliance and reduce the risk of nuclear conflict between India and Pakistan.

Additionally, they said the movement is asking the Indian government to allow an official referendum in Punjab.

They said the people of Punjab should decide whether they want to remain part of India or become an independent country.
